Where's The Love For "She's Always In My Hair"? This a special song to me because it's the B-Side to my favorite album "Around The World In A Day".
I recently added this song to the "Around The World In A Day" album, instead of leaving it on The Hits/B-Sides.It's to good to be on their. I placed it after "Condition of the Heart" so the first four songs can flow easily. I wish Prince put this on the album. Which has me thinking, which song would've been left off? A question I can never answer....
Did this song he a lot of play in 85'?

A classic.
There used to be footage on...ahem...of him performing this live during the Nude tour....I wish I'd thought to save it to my comp or something, it's long gone now but that was probably the best version of it I'd ever heard.

This is a top-5 Prince song of all time for me.
Funny but when I first heard it, I didn't much care for it.
Then not only did it grow on me, it flooded my awareness!

Prince should have placed this song on the album instead of "Tamborine".It's a better,stronger song that deserved much more than B-side status. | |

it was a mark of his creativity at the time that even his b sides were classics.
i seem to remember that controversy did a poll of fans favourites which was passed on to prince for inclusion in the act 2 tour. must have polled high as it was played alot, seemed to be the time the beautiful ones made a return to his live shows too. don't play me...i'm over 30 and i DO smoke weed.... | |

I don't mind that it wasn't on the album...just adds to the song's 'mystique'...it's a shame that he didn't like videos at the time b/c MTV would've definitely put this one on heavy rotation.

Because it came out the same summer as the album, I've always had it on every tape / cd/ computer all this time.

I LOVED this song. Shoulda been a track on the ATWIAD. I always included this listen on my daily workouts Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!!  In addition to seeing Prince, I have now lived life. Thank you Purple People!! | |

Its a tie for me on my favorite versions. I love the treatment he gave it during the ACT 1 Tour with the horns and then I saw him play a stripped down version at Studio 54 Vegas in 2001 that was off the hook amazing. |

Get goosebumps everytime he plays it live. Always takes me back 2 the summer of 85. Whatayear. Rave new years eve special is my fav version & the Act 1 & 11 tours versions...Never heard the Nude tour version. Would love 2 hear that one.  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"!
