SoulAlive

so we all agree that this song should have been on ATWIAD? It's too good to be just a B-side!

You've only been around for a couple of months? Is that your judgment on if something's ever been talked about or not? If you Googled prince.org and SAIMH, you'd see the love the org has given it over the years.

That's why I put the "sad face" at the beginning.

He performed it back in '92(?) in Radio City Music Hall (for the prince album tour...I forget what it was called)...the crowd went WILD!

Harlepolis

I only knew recently - via peach & black podcast - that it was recorded in the same day as "Erotic City". TWO of my fave songs from him and two feature some wicked basslines.

thumbs up!

Thanks! I saw that concert TWICE thanks to an aunt of a friend at the time who worked for Radio City. We took an elevator from her office to the ground floor and she warned us to keep our composure in the unlikely event we ran into HIM.

No, we didn't bump into Prince, but we did share the elevator w/ Levi Seacer.

I see 'She's Always In My Hair' as classic Prince love It just never gets old, no matter how much I play it.

I only recently started getting into D'Angelo's version, it can't compare to the original but for those who haven't heard it ..

I love how Prince's b-sides are so much better than the majority of artists a-sides lol

Always one of my favorites. That doubletime kick drum at the end of the extended version is bad ass.
