The european pressing has been tracked since at least the mid-90s and new copies can be purchased from any reputable online retailer based in the UK or Europe.

Is this true?
I almost logged onto Amazon after reading the above (have always wanted a tracked version).
When I first got my PC (10 years ago) one of the first things I did was rip tracks off of Lovesexy one by one...I think I downloaded CDEx specifically for that purpose. It was a long process.
Now I can't find the tracks! I may have deleyed them.

I cant say 100% for sure. But im pretty sure ive read that here some where
In this day and age u can easily rip the CD to wav, split the tracks Burn it back to CD with out any loss of quality : ) | |

Yeah, even on Spotify it's just one large track. Making that album one long song was a really piss-poor idea. Every time I have to fast-forward to get to Glam Slam I gnash my teeth a little bit. "I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day | |

You could always buy the non tracked version and use software like Nero to separate the tracks like I did. Not that big of a deal. In regards to Prince I'm a fan, In regards to music I'm a fanatic!! | |

Buy the record. It has the divider spaces between the songs. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
