Hi again:
Condorcet Album Poll: Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic.
This is the next installment in a series of polls ranking the songs on each album officially released by Prince or O+>. The goal of this project is to determine which tracks should be included in a final poll to determine the overall top 25 Prince songs in the opinion of his fans.

Wow--the last album poll! (That is, unless we do a second poll on SOTT, since I had to cut that poll off prematurely the first time around.)
I have started a new Part III of the thread regarding unreleased and associated artist tracks, since the two earlier threads have closed:

The poll is now closed. Eye Love U, But I Don't Trust U Anymore has won, with the title track a close second.
This time, I haven't been able to keep the thread on the first page with my posts, and it has been lost in the second. You can be sure that it's not my fault; on the contrary, a mod's decision has prompted this. Maybe less people have voted for that reason. I like to make a good job, and I'm sorry for that. However, 42 votes is good enough for the less loved Prince album! Thanks a lot.
The next poll will be Sign O' The Times. As electricberet has said, this poll was already conducted in April, but had to be interrupted due to some people commenting the results in prince.org before the poll was over. Since it was the album that ranked first in the albums poll, it particularly deserves a new poll.

Thanks, Javi, for making it through all the albums! I look forward to the SOTT revote and then the long-awaited poll of unreleased, rare, and associated artist songs.
We will soon need to figure out how to structure the final poll. As I've suggested before, I think we may need to do one or more preliminary polling rounds before we go to the final poll. There may be a couple of albums that did poorly in the album poll but have a few very strong tracks. I would suggest that we do a first round that includes some of the winners from each poll, weighted to include all the high-ranking tracks from the A-side poll and a greater number of songs from the albums that did well in the album poll. If a particular album ends up having all its tracks make the top 25 in the first round, we should do another poll that would include more tracks from that album and pit those against the first-round top 25. On the other hand, if the lowest-ranked song from one of the album polls that made it to the first round fails to make the top 25 in the first round, none of the songs ranked lower in that album poll will be included in any future rounds, because if the lowest-ranked song can't make the top 25 it logically follows that any lower ranked songs from the same album would also fail to crack the top 25. Does that make any sense?
Whatever we do, I hope that it will be structured in such a way that everyone will accept the process even if they disagree with the results. I don't expect a polling project of this scope to be repeated anytime soon.

Too bad I didn't get to vote for this one. I am haooy with the results though. I don't know why people hate on it. I really like this album.

This is the most inconsistant of all of Prince's albums imo. It's high's are incredibly high...Eye Love U, But I Don't Trust U is one his most honest songs, and beautifully done. The title track is slowly becoming one of my all time fave tracks but anyone. Prettyman is FONKAY! Strange But True has that old Prince sound but again, very honest lyrics.
But man the low's are stomach churning...with the worst being Everyday is a Winding Road which is unlistenable.
