That's like asking what's my fav Prince song, there's so many. I guess it'd be a tie at the moment between Sign of the Times and Purple Rain. Though if I include Prince The Hits/ the B-sides I get to hear songs from all eras.

Have u had your + sign today?

I find it almost impossible to have to choose between these albums...

Dirty Mind, 1999, Purple Rain, Around The World In A Day, Parade and Sign of The Times.

Dirty Mind was perfect, and/but a little short. 1999 is the biggest inspiration to my own music. While Around The World In A Day is the most spiritual one, speaks to my soul. Purple Rain is has the best flow and is super catchy. Parade is maybe the most organic and live of them all. Sign of The Times was a perfect "best of" album consisting of just unreleased and new material.

1999 i choose today

I'd love to be controversial and pick a not so obvious one but I have to go with one of:
Purple rain
Dirty mind
Around the world in a day
Parade
Sign of the times

It's far too hard to pick one!

  1. 1999.
  2. Sign O The Times.
  3. Purple Rain.
  4. Dirty Mind.
  5. Controversy.
  6. Prince.
  7. Batman.
  8. Crystal Ball.
  9. Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic.
  10. Planet Earth.

In no particular order, that would be my top ten.

It's much easier that way.

Five masterpieces in a row, culminating at his peak, from 1986-1987, first with Parade and then Sign O The Times, his greatest album ever. There was no stopping him.
