Does Prince like Lady Gaga? Has Prince ever made any comments about Lady Gaga and his perception of her talent/skills? I read an interview from a while back that said Lady Gaga and her producer had "lengthy" discussions about Prince and how they (I suppose) were crafting her image to be similar to his.... Bouncy wins vocally yes.... but behind the piano and just being a songwriter in general Gaga wins. there's more to coming up with catchy melodies than it looks. | |

Hey Dizzles, well I disagree about her vocally but agree yes is she very irritating, I just wish I could run away from her overexposure forever, you know without having to move to Bahrain or something to get away from her yoddling, fake body parts/hair, etc. LOL.

visually she's breaking every rule, to the extreme. reminds me of someone we know lol
she can also rock that piana, sing like a giant, and her songs are about much more than the usual 'i love a boy' kindergarten themes.
she's not my cup of tea over-all, but she's way more talented and creative than most in that scene.
she rips the pants off all those bland slow-song 'trying to be cool' indie artists who rely on their hippy clothes to sell their vibe.
i can see why this generation likes her. she dares to be totally different, not just another stereotype, or symbol of mediocrity.
whilst some of her creations border on distortions, she didnt lose my attention for a moment.
she mentioned when she was young she was bullied a lot and some guys and girls even threw her in a dumpster.
good on her for not letting nasty people break her spirit down into a people pleasing artist.
she's gaga and she's honest. not trying to front. just putting it out there.

Here we go again with the comparisons. Why can't folks ever talk about an artist without downing another artist. To me that says they don't have good enough credentials to stand on their own. Both Beyonce and Lady Gaga have their pros and cons. Some people say Beyonce can't sing and dresses slutty, I say Lady Gaga try's too damn hard and dresses just plain stupid but I don't go around trying to put one artist that I like on a pedestal and try to make them the best thing on the planet by belittling another artist. That's so damn annoying.

hey 2020, wow I didn't know about Dale Bozzio but wow the pictures are pretty damning of Lady Gaga, perhaps that explains Prince's (assumingly) disdain for Lady Gaga....well, I think she's very talented but these pictures and her recent Born this Way backstage video is extremely Madonna-esque....
