Which Prince concerts were pro filmed? Does anyone know exactly which Prince shows were pro filmed? 2 whomever it may concern, u must come 2 ur senses. There r no kings on this Earth, only princes. | |

Pro meaning by Prince's crew or just shot with pro equipment?

Yes, but for for example at the ONA shows I saw just one camera guy at the PA filming the gigs (for prince's private use probably). This is not comparable to multi-camera shots that could be used for a possible commercial release. Shows like on the Musicology tour in big arenas had multiple cameras for projection on the video screens. |

There are other professionally/unprofessionally shot bootleg videos circulating from as far back as 1983. When  go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all  up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

all of his shows that have large screen monitors are pro shot really. the question is if they are recorded or not. i would imagine they are, anyone have insite on this? | |

An accurate list of every concert that has been pro-shot using multiple cameras or just one would be very difficult to compile and would more than likely take up too much space in here.

If they were videotaped, they were prob. for his own personal use. He likes archiving his stuff, so he prob. has a ton of footage.
I don't know if the stuff shot for the screen in arenas are recorded. It might be up to the performer, I'm sure some of them have something in their rider saying they don't want the venue to record it. | |
