If I could make one change it would be to delete Parade (as painful as that is) and gather the best material circa 1985-1986 and compile a three and a half hour long five LP/three CD set. There was so much amazing material recorded during that era, he needs to release it!

I would also like to do something similar with his material circa 1993-1995.

The only reason I'd change a Prince album would only be a situation where vinyl time length wasn't an issue, and want to know which ones he intended to be short (Dirty Mind), and which ones he intended to put full length songs and/or add songs to (Purple Rain).

i would turn up the guitar solo in "Never Take The Place Of Your Man"

Its so quiet half of it is buried under the drums and horns, irritating!!!!

I think id put the full length versions of songs on Parade as ill be honest, that album feels short and incomplete. Songs like i wonder u only clock at just over a minute, annoying stuff.

Prince should have used all that GREAT unreleased 85-86 material for his slighty lesser 88-91 albums. Hell, in fact, many of the highlights of GB were the reworked mid-80's songs...

why didn't he use the rest of them during the awful late-90's era? "knowing" him, he probably got PISSED at the high amount of bootlegs so he probably thought "aw, fuck it" during the D&P / era...
