A Prince Cirque Du Soleil show?

After seeing Cirque Du Soleil's Viva Elvis show, and their Beatles Love show, and plus, their new Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour is on its way, does anyone think Prince and Cirque Du Soleil would be a good match?

Well, I used to work for the La Nouba show in Disney in the box office before the beatles- love and the others came out. The highlight everyday was to go to this little space on the stage, where only a curtain seperated u from the performances and the stage managers/directors 2 watch the show. I would think wow this would be great if they used Prince music.

The cirque offices were downstairs and next door 2 us. Just throwing it out there...but maybe they heard me when I had mentioned the idea to my Coordinator, or she probably mentioned it to them jokingly...since the bosses of that show were always in our offices. Cirque would always invite us to their Christmas parties, picnics, traveling shows ect... My coordinator is a prince fan and she thought it was a good idea.... but P, would have 2 give his permission. Plus it would have 2be instrumental, as no cirque singer could pull off a prince song.

Just an idea though.... lol

I love what was done to THE BEATLES, the "Love" album...

a bit like what BF did to PRINCE with the essential "The Dawn" 3CD bootleg.

so my answer is why not...?

Those who do not like remixes can always choose to ignorre.

I loved LOVE. Haven't seen the Elvis show - but hear it doesn't hold a candle to LOVE. Will see the MJ show in November. Prince sure has the catalogue to pull it off, but for some reason I don't think it would work as well.

Maybe just go see Zumanity with your fave Prince playlist on your ipod.

I don't think Prince is really mainstream popular enough like The Beatles, Elvis, or Mike. He never was.
