You need to learn the language. "They" is used as a term to talk down to, not live in fear of. fryingpan

I read what he said too. The difference is, I can spot the humour and meaning. You should try it! lol

Well the same joke over and over and over again... hum... Not for me. He has been talking about his Roger Waters gig on both schkopi.com and prince.org for weeks now. It's probably time for him to move on.

FYI I'm not on Schkopi!

You really don't get this do you???

1.For a top price of under 100€ our “Rog” put on an amazing show with flying pigs, crashing planes and, of course, the amazing “Wall”. At the same time at the SDF , for nasty ticket prices, Prince had a tired old video screen from the last Foreigner tour and Shelby.

6. In point 1 I mentioned flying pigs. Some believe that pigs will fly the day P makes another decent album.

9. At “The Wall” show, one of the final songs was “Run like hell”...how many of us fell the same when we see Shelby appearing once again?

Hahaha

You know what, dude? If you don't like the subject, don't open the fucking post. The OP is obviously tongue in cheek. Don't be a pest.

As I left Bercy on 30 June with the last notes of Another Brick In The Wall ( Pt 94) ringing in my ears, and the thought that Prince was playing in the SDF just down the road, I got to a-thinkin’ about connections between Roger Waters and our dear P.

And , as with my threads on Kim Wilde and The Human League, I got to a-wonderin’; could Roger actually be better than Prince???

Ladies and gentlemen, I put it to you.....

  1. For a top price of under 100€ our “Rog” put on an amazing show with flying pigs, crashing planes and, of course, the amazing “Wall”. At the same time at the SDF , for nasty ticket prices, Prince had a tired old video screen from the last Foreigner tour and Shelby.

2.As he revealed to us at the O2, one of Prince’s fave songs is apparently Pink Cashmere (it’s nobody else’s though!). The title was obviously inspired by Pink Floyd, of which Roger was once the bassist/singer/songwriter.

3. Roger, when in Pink Floyd, was known as a bit of a tyrant and a control freak, not wanting anyone else to write songs, contribute to the creative vision etc etc. Does this remind you of anyone??? Roger wins the “tyrant” category, however, as Prince accepted to listen to Wendy and Lisa’s Purple Rain cassette in his dressing room and then actually play the song. He also accepted to play Computer Blue which his violent father may ( or may not) have written

4. If you go dwon to your local wrecka stow and shift throught the vinyl, Pink Floyd is alphabetically before Prince.

5.One of Roger’s and Pink Foyd’s most famous songs is “Money”. As we all know, this is the main thing that motivates Prince these days.

6. In point 1 I mentioned flying pigs. Some believe that pigs will fly the day P makes another decent album.

7. Roger’s old mate in the band was Dave Gilmour. Prince has never had anyone called “Dave” in his band.

8. “We don’t need no thought control” sang ver kids on Another Brick.....if you are a Jehovah’s Witness, you obviously don’t agree with this.

9. At “The Wall” show, one of the final songs was “Run like hell”...how many of us fell the same when we see Shelby appearing once agian?

10. And, er, many other things.

Yes, I could go on and on ( and on) but I won’t .....

I just hope this will make some of you reflect a little on the connections between Roger Waters and Prince

Points 2 and 7 - so spot on - genius!!!!
