^ Joakim Hediger, danish DJ and TV Host through many years, he is a long time Prince fan too....

From ekstrabladet.dk : TRANSLATION IS BELOW!

For summer the purple pop-prince is visiting Denmark where he gives a concert on 10-Øren on Amager. Warming up for the danish concert, Prince decided to give one of his rare interviews.

The lucky person who was allowed to get an audience with the prince, was the Danish DJ and television personality Joachim Hediger, who has followed Prince through thick and thin over the past many years.

- Prince was in unusually good mood. He replied, enthusiastic and completely to all questions, even though he is known for often simply answer yes and no when he is interviewed, says Joachim Hediger on one phone line from Paris, where the interview took place yesterday in a hotel.

A hard task
During the interview, Prince was naturally surrounded by several beautiful women, which may have contributed to his cheerful mood.

- It was a tough job because you either had to have the voice recorder, camera or other equipment. The only thing one might have to were a pad and a pen, but fortunately it did that interview situation evolved more into a good conversation than to set an artificial event, says Joachim Hediger to Ekstra Bladet.

The interview with Prince can be read in the near future in Ekstra Bladet.

The concert with Prince taking place on Saturday 6 August.

A total of 15,000 tickets will be sold for the festival. Tickets are sold via billetlugen.dk

Joakim Hediger really is wearing some amazing clothes at every Prince concert (Afaik),

I saw him in Herning last year (Or was it at Forum, Copenhagen - I can't remember), he was standing in front line at the Prince concert wink

the pic above is taken in Amager Bio, (that's my guess - like the poster says),

that was when Prince was playing an aftershow there, last year.

I am really looking forward to this interview!

What a lucky guy he is..... meeting Prince. eek woot!

Another "story" about Prince's visit soon to happen in DENMARK, from the danish tabloid bt.dk,

Google translate:

the worldstar is in Copenhagen during the fashion week

"Danish fashion houses fighting over Prince"

The [danish] country's top designers and fashion houses are trying currently to get a small chunk of superstar Prince.

The brilliant - but mysterious - little rock musician gives a concert as we know, on 10-Øren on Amager Saturday 6 August but already appears to Copenhagen on Tuesday the 2nd

And thus landing in the middle of Copenhagen Fashion Week.

The rumor that the star will be in town, has already hit various organizers, who will give their right and left arm that the Prince comes to their fashion show or party.

- It overturns a day in with the calls from the big fashion houses, the Prince will come as a guest. For dinners or celebrations, says concert organizer Kim Worsøe who is behind the European tour.

For the time being, Prince himself in Paris, where he also is a popular name among the hottest designers.

- And in Paris, he goes to all the shows, he can reach, says Kim Worsøe that conveys the many Danish invitations to the star.

- Whether he then meets up, it's something else!

Prince is certainly known to go his own way. At any time of day!

KNowing Ekstra Bladet, there's little doubt that IF Prince ever told them *anything* at all twistable or sensational, they'd run with it like dogs. They always go for the lowest common denominator.

Here's to hoping it'll be an insightful interview.

Thanks for keeping us posted. lol

The right name on the lucky guy making the Prince interview is: Joakim Hediger,

the name is spelled wrong on EkstraBladet.dk.

Sorry about that.. fair should be fair, so it is changed here now... wink

^ nonsense, Farfunk,

Joakim has a girlfriend already (afaik), I met them both at the Prince concert in Forum Copenhagen last year, talked briefly with them before the concert.

this guy, Joakim H. is really cool, supporting Prince through thick & thin all those years.

what I especially remember him for is making a cool interview with Michael B. and Levi Seacar Jr. in 1993 - during the Prince, Act II tour. This interview was on danish tv2, and there was a clip of Prince singing SEXY MF / The Beautiful Ones, from Act II in Sweden I think (I can't exactly remember). The Act II tour wasn't visiting Denmark back then.... I once had this tv-interview on VHS tape haha...

Memories....
