Prince is dissing Dre cuz when they played chess at the first celebration, Prince kicked Dre's ass! I have the boot of this if anyone is interested 
On a serious note though, Liz Jones hasn't got a clue about Prince and that book isn't researched at all. She makes dumb mistakes as thinking that the lyrics to 18 and over are 18 and over, I want 2 PHONE ya. Any fool with a search engine could find the lyrics to a Prince song if they needed to. I see no attack on Dr Dre in the emale lyrics. I remember that Liz claimed that one of the Wu Tang Clan (I think Rza) said that Prince was a "faggott who dresses in womens clothing" or something along them lines. It does't necessarily mean the lyrics either - it could just be the heavy rhythm track she's talking about. Personally, I don't hear it but I read that book and Liz Jones was not the best evaluator of Prince's material anyway. | |

It does't necessarily mean the lyrics either - it could just be the heavy rhythm track she's talking about. Jestyr is correct. She meant that "E-Male" has a Dr.Dre sound to it. Actually, when I first heard that song, it reminded me of Dre. It's that main high-pitched keyboard line. The sound of that line is very similar to the ones on songs like "Ain't Nuthin' But A G-Thang". | |
