QUESTION?????? Have u ever had the chance to meet Prince or talk to Prince and blew your chance ???

Here it is again. "My short meeting with Prince", (I don't think I blew anything though)...

after the aftershow at Vega Copenhagen 2002.... (yes I was there and it was excellent..!),

Me and some friends went outside a few minutes after the show ended (maybe half an hour?). We turned around a corner and a big white limousine was just passing us,

I have never seen such a big car like that in Denmark, it was huuuge.

and, in it was Prince himself in the backseat: he made the limo stop and rolled down the window, then he looked at us, and asked in his deep voice:



"Was it too loud"??

We were all amazed, and stumbled (is that the right word?).. anyway we mumbled or shouted back something like: "No No No... it was great".

Prince must have been satisfied with the answer, cuz he rolled up his window and the limo droved away out into the night of Copenhagen. He was gone...

It all happened really quickly, I guess it all took about 10, maybe 20 seconds,

a really nice experience, we laughed and had a great time, talking about this little "happening".. sorry for my bad english....

ps. I have told this little story a few times already on housequake.com - and here on the Org already, too. Memories....

Eye was only feet away from prince in 86 at wembley arena,prince was chatting 2 a girl about london she gave him a purple teddy bear.Eye wanted 2 talk but eye was just frozen?It was prince!!!2ft away from me & eye was like a statue!!!So yes u could say eye blew it!!!

There's been a number of times where I've been a few feet to even less than a foot from Prince for a few moments at a time. But I never talked to him. Two friends of mine were invited to sit at his table at a bar in Austin during the Jam of the Year Tour (they were cool looking girls that were hanging there that night). Morris Hayes mainly talked to them. Prince didn't talk much.

Morris Hayes has hit on three seperate girls I went to Prince concerts with in three different cities in the late 90's. He was such a dog.

Yes and it pains me to this day. Bottom line, my roommate and I met members of Mazarati at a joint in Oakland. We talked for quite some time when Craig Rice walked up to say they had to leave. We met their mystery band (guest) player still disquised. Craig told them to come on...they invited us to go with them back to Minneapolis to accompany them while jamming with Prince. We DECLINED the offer. Another cool memory of that night- when we first got there, I said my hellos to Juan Escovedo, who told me to that I should go over n say hello to Sheila. He said for me to take the seat next to herat the table which I did...very cool conversation. Then the show started and Sheila did a special guest performance on stage. She had on one of Prince's suits-green. She sung Prince songs then vanished from the stage ang joint.

Any1 remember that story in Controversy mag years ago,after a concert getting in2 there car 2 girls heard a tap on the window it was prince!!!!!!He got in and asked them 2 drive around london!!!!!as they drove out of wembley arena carpark passing thousands of people none of them had a clue prince was in the car with them!!!!!!!Amazing!!Any1 remember this story??????

yeah, while waiting to get in2 an aftershow.. i blew it by letting my bloke out the line so he could try 4 a photo of prince arriving!! there were no barriers, prince got out the car.. right in front of him!! he couldn't go wrong!! but he did.. it was a SHITE pic

I had the chance to look in the when he stood & bowed right in front of my floor section (lights up) at the end of a W2A concert, & I couldnt look up past his nose. I was so in awe . Hey, at least I didn't faint...
