People seem to have the impression that Prince is a "robot" who's actions is dictated by his religious "handlers". I dispute this.

Even though he stopped swearing, Prince is far from being a "prude".

He has not lost his "coolness" at all, and perhaps more importantly he has not lost his sense of humor.

And he DEFINITELY ain't lost his sense of fashion. Ahhhight???!

I have to agree!!! Prince still wears crazy outfits sometimes that make me go "huh," then "hmmm!" He is now a more respectable guy and I like that. And he is still working them heels and showing off that hot body, so yeah he is still the coolest dude around! He definately aint lost his sex appeal!!! He just lost the "trash" appeal. I can now play his new music around kids and not have to hit mute every couple words. He is still appealing and extremely interesting moreso now. And being a person who loves GOD and Jesus myself, I find him even more appealing now that he's religious! But honestly, Prince was always religious! That's one of the things I loved about him!! Before, he was young and seemed to be battling between sexuality and spirituality. Now he seems to have figured it out, he knows how to give just enough of each!! I love it!!

Morris has always been much cooler than Prince, no doubt about it. Because Morris is the ultimate cool.

But Prince is pretty cool in his own right though.

Ok first Prince was never cool.

My impression is that Prince likes to think he is a Jehovah's Witness... But when it comes to actually defining what a "true" Jehovah's Witness is, then there will always be grey area (one of the reasons I despise organised religion, or any irrational belief system for that matter).

Prince, like most hardcore religious folk, is too far deep into his own personal fantasy now that he'll be able to rationalise anything in his mind to keep himself "OK" with Jehovah and prevent any seed of doubt.

Shame, but oh well. I still mostly enjoy his new music.
