I believe the remark is off here. Prince attempted to take on the problem of France outlawing the Burkha. I believe that Prince feels clothes should be a personal choice and free of any level of government intervention. But more importantly, Prince sees the hate and discrimination against Arabs in this world. Recall his song Cinnamon Girl. The deeper problem clearly is the French outlawing the Burkha which is a violation of religious freedom. Can you imagine a town in the United States that would outlaw a cermony ribbon shirt worn by our Native Americans. Not today but in the past, yes.

Interesting. I had no idea he was commenting on the French decision to outlaw the Burkha. It's so easy to misinterpret someone's words, or give a slant to them as Fox Newz is notorious for.

And sad how many people take it at face value. Fox Newz is obviously for people who don't care about the truth.
