Good. Whether he actually said it or not or if he said more that wasn't reported, he should learn to keep his fuckin' mouth CLOSED when it comes to stuff like that. Mainly because he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.

He's so far gone now, and it makes sense as to why his most recent music (for years now, actually) doesn't really resonate like it once did. It's stuff like this that comes through in his music and it doesn't connect with the majority of the audience (including us "die-hards"). And I'm not talking about just lyrics. His attitude shines through in the music, and as you can see, it's mostly been dry as hell.

It's in the lyrics too. Remember when he sang, "You'd get beheaded in other lands if I were in your arms tonight?" Takes on a new meaning in light of his new fascination with burqas, I think.

Exactly. Some of Prince's apologists here need to read those comments. Then they might understand the difference between someone who really hates Prince and a longtime (or former) fan who wishes he hadn't gone so far astray. I think pretty much all of us liked Prince or his music at some time or other. Not so for the people commenting on that thread.

This is the Faux Propaganda Machine. They deal only on sensationalism and soundbites. The Enquirer deals more with actual news than Faux. In fact former Minnesotan Gov. Jesse Ventura refers to the three Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and Glenn Beck as the Three Stooges. (I think we all know who Curley is.) They feed off of this stuff and folks like Prince and Madonna know it.

You only quoted half of that comment. It's followed by "But seriously, does anybody care about him anymore or what he has to say? His career has been over for about 20 years." Now this is a fairly typical prince.org comment. I'm not saying it's wrong to make those kind of statements, I just don't see much of a difference between there and here.
