I'm not certain that list is accurate. I guess the left Madonna off-because of the "live" act requirement. Lip-synchers beware!

i expected u2 or something, as overrated as they are. or maybe lady gaga, as popular as she is.. but rush? theyre not a bad band, but that was unexpected. interesting how pretty much all of them are rock bands. biased list.

theres a few ahead of prince on here ive never even heard of before

KISS and Pink Floyd belong on there also, but I guess they're more focused on modern acts.

Iron Maiden's number 2 is pretty acurate but you gotta be kidding me if you list Metallica but you don't include Slayer (still a beast live) and Megadeth (featuring the insanely great Chris Broderick)

Of course I think he should be a lot higher on the list, but it's good to see he is getting the recognition for his live shows he deserves. I honestly do not think there is a better live performer to day.

Not sure I agree with that list much either... U2's great to see live, but I dunno... maybe I dont have the same connection with the songs but they don't give me the chills that I get from when Prince is on form. Chili Peppers?? I love them to death, but Ive never seen them live where they've blown me away... Radiohead at #5?? I dunno, I'd put em at 7 maybe...

Its all entirely irrelevant and subjective - I've seen acts that have blown me away that aren't on any of these lists. Some acts are so different to each other, that direct comparison is futile. All you could really say is that Prince certainly belongs up there with the great live acts, but assessing whether he is worse or better than Pink Floyd, or if they were worse or better than Radiohead and.......!!!!

Yeah i agree also, Prince is a 1 man show. Can play, guitar, keyboards, piano, dance/move etc. The main entertainer.

And I'm even an unashamed Bon Jovi lover, but that's just flabbergasting. They're fairly good at best.

There are probably a lot of people who think Prince shouldn't even be in the top 10.
