Ha ha!! I swear you guys make me think I'm hanging around the wrong JW's. I just ran the hair thing by some actual JW's and they said it's not true... many do prefer to have their hair cut short, but long hair is fine as long as it's neat. Being well groomed and clean is important to them regardless of hair length.

To be fair, if you Google stuff about various religons, it will say that we all should be living like monks in a tower... but, many of the people who actually practice these religons in real life and go to the churches/Kingdom Halls are nowhere near as anal. No cursing, no fornicating, no celebrating holidays and no blood transfusions are biggies... the rest of that stuff? Not so much.

She isn't, Prince is stood on a box. I think he was 'pregnant' with Rave Unto The Joy Fantastic at the time, but a week of eating branflakes sorted everything out.

Yeah, but back then he was JUST getting into the whole JW thing, so he was slowly changing things about himself that wasn't JW approvable. He had already stopped cursing, and so losing the long hair was one of the next steps. They believe the long hair is dishonorable for a man.

Michael's hair was long during his JW days. Great pics by the way.
