I don't know why I did this, but I bought a Japanese edition of "LoveSexy"....for some reason I bought it BEFORE I asked the seller the quitinessentail question about it being tracked or untracked. I don't know what was on my mind but I found the email...and he indeed responded that it wasn't tracked! Yet I bought it....I guess thinking I knew the answer?

Anyway, I heard certain offical Europoeon verision of it are tracked.....maybe even the recent release of it on CD. Anyone know a place where I can order it for a relatively low price? Thanks.

Why don't you download CD Wave Editor and split the tracks yourself?

This is why everyone is suggesting an Amazon supplier in the UK, or elsewhere in Europe - most, if not all new Lovesexy CDs will be tracked/split-cued.

Note that there are usually slight sound differences between US, Euro and Japanese pressed discs if they were digitally mastered in their respective countries.

When the cd was first released in the UK (+ Europe) it was a single track version like everywhere, but tracked versions have been available in Europe for years now.

If you buy a NEW copy direct from any major retailer in the UK, then it WILL be tracked.

Lovesexy has been tracked in the UK since the early 90s.

You can get it on Amazon.co.uk for £4.99, which is about $8.00 (though of course there's gonna be shipping on top of that)

However, if you buy a second hand one, then you always run the risk of picking up an old original untracked copy.

Really? I'm not getting confused am I... tracked as in separate tracks, UNtracked as in all 1 long track? The packaging lpols the same but I've bought 2 vmcopues in recent years and I have friends who have it too, all straight off the shelf, all individual tracks

Right. Untracked as in 1 long track. I saw two copies at Amoeba in Los Angeles last weekend. Still haven't seen a tracked one on the shelves, though.

Everywhere - I think all albums post 1988 have this tracked, my version was I didn't need to look for it.
