Agreed. And truth be told, I don't follow Prince for his websites, his cryptic-speak, his movies, his sub-par customer service or anything...but the music. He's an incredible musician, composer, and concert performer. Beyond that, why follow him like lemmings off a cliff?

Very few artists are good with money.

There's nothing wrong with liking an artist from a distance, sometimes there's artists or writers that are unlikeable, but create quality product or were so good at what they did, that their flaws or offensive things they've said could be overlooked.

Sometimes highly creative people do things that make people scratch their heads.

One common trait is that they absolutely hate to do the same thing again. Once its done, they want to go on to do something else.

But I also think Prince lives and works in the Minneapolis area because he doesn't want to be obligated to act like a celebrity 24/7, and knows who his friends are.

As far as musicians he cuts out - he has his reasons, they have theirs, and there's 2 sides to that story.

How would you like someone to call you an A**Hole based on your former employments? Respect his personal and professional decisions - just as you would want people to respect yours.

Uh, no. I'm not an asshole whatsoever in my everyday life. I treat people the way I want to be treated. I'm only considered an asshole on Prince.org because there are so many people here who treat Prince as if he's god, & gets angry if anyone says anything even questionably negative about him. I think he's an awesome & inspiring musician...and a human being just like the rest of us.

We all have flaws in our character.......regardless to what people wanna believe, Prince is not perfect or right about everything. And yes, he can do/be wrong.

i dont worship prince, and i dont treat him like a god. im a christian, and i believe in the one and only god...nobody is perfect but god, i already know that. u say u treat people the way that u would want to be treated, but i highly doubt that any would likes b called an a-hole....just like u called prince, and some people r calling u, and i dont think u like that do u?
