Who on here has met him? I want details !!!

Well actually , Years ago , like around the Emancipation era i was hanging around a female recording artist whom co wrote a few tunes with Prince (and no, i won't say her name). She was dissing him heavily and one of his band members were there at the time. She admits while he is very talented, but even went as far as to call him a witch, &itch and little asshole . And his band member didn't look shocked at all . I was like WOW .

See? This is what I'm talking about. I know people who knew Prince too, & they all say he was a bit of a jackass [some have said worst]. I've heard this from so many people that it was just on my mind to start this thread....

Well no one's perfect . And if he was a very nice guy and not an asshole , then he'd be perfect .

Your favorite musician is probably a giant asshole. I don't see how Prince is any different.

Lots of geniuses got madman complications with them. He's no different from James Brown or Miles Davis in that matter...

I worked all 15 shows at the Forum, and yes, he's very strict and the whole environment was controlled!! On Sunday, he was in a @$%&*# mood, but left the venue in a ehhh mood in company of a female companion. No, it wasn't Bria or Misty!! And the reason for Sheilas' facebook statement: Friday, he and her had a rant, she left uneasy. The next thing you know, she didn't perform Sat nor Sun. Moreover, as far as family, maybe the issue about the lost of his son scares him to have another child.

I just had a thought....if Prince wasn't such an asshole, then maybe, just maybe we wouldn't have all of the bootlegs we do. If he used to hand out tapes to his [then] friends, & then pissed them off, that may just be an origin of how so many boots have been released [along with pissed off soundboard workers ]. [Of course some bootlegged his stuff for the cash too] So, therefore we should maybe be happy Prince is an asshole.....

I wouldn't call Prince an A hole. Perhaps, he does have control issues. But the same "control" issues have also contributed to his success. It's a two edge sword. The former people around him where would they be without him? And where are they now?

I don't know him personaly , so I'm not going to judge him.

If some people are saying his an asshole, well I don't know.. I don't know what happened or whatever.

I think he is so different from other people and very shy, that's why people think you're asshole sometimes(not saying this is why people call him an asshole, it could be a reason)

But that's also based on my own experience.. I don't have to live with him so, I really don't think he is as asshole. But that he is not easy to work and live with..

No not rosie . It was a male member of his group at the time playing drums for a female artist P co wrote a few songs with . All the other names she called him , i brushed off . But WITCH ? That spooked me the way she said it. His music does cast a spell on u though . One minute i can be sure that i hate a song and the next thing u know i have it on damn repeat . LOL .
