Ahh this is interesting. SEXY MF is a faster paced dance song with a decent rap. MR GOODNIGHT is a sexy slow jam with a mediocre rap but a strong melody. One might be conned, yes conned, into thinking that SEXY MF is naughty song in comparison to MR GOODNIGHT but if you listen to the lyrics....he is actually trying to romance and build a relationship with the woman in SEXY MF but in MG the woman is nothing but a booty call. Prince is a clever bloke when it comes to creating songs. He could sing you your own social security number and you wouldn't recognize it. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE his vocals in Mr. Goodnight and it's a 'cruisy' song, where SexyMF is a booty-shaker. As for the rapping, I prefer MG because of his voice. I know a lot of people don't like his 'rap', but I hate 'regular rap' because I'm old and can't understand a word they say, and usually, it's not even worth me trying to figure out. | |

this is a tough one ... SEXY MF is a very bold an bad arsed sound .. like some JAMES BROWN music .. nothing pretty just raw funk at its best an pretty in ur face.. ... MR GOODNIGHT is more slick ... I kinda think MR GOODNIGHT is more egotistical .. but also funnier ... an more fun .. SEXY MF .. has an intence vibe an delivery which is more hard hitting an harsh .... i love them both .. but as we know prince stopped swearing around 1998 ... so songs like SEXY MF almost make me feel like i am listening to a different guy than the guy he is today ... so for that reason MR GOODNIGHT .. .... but LOOSE!!!! is better than them both put together ... seriously that song kicks arse!!!! whenever i want to hear some new music ...i make some - prince '99' | |
