I hope he's putting together a 2-3 set DVD of all these shows. The Stones did this on one of their tours when they played different sized venues. Was he filming at the Troubadour?

No cameras that i saw unless they were filming from the balcony.

I wouldn't be surprsed if he was filming but I'd be amazed if we ever saw it. Every one of the O2 shows was filmed and we haven't got a DVD of them, Montreux was filmed too. He just does it so that he can tease us with the knowledge that it exists.

Aren't all Concerts filmed so they can be viewed on the big screens? So I guess the real question is whether or not if the filming was actually saved on a Hard Drive.

I meant Concerts at Stadiums in general. Not the one off gigs Prince does at small clubs. Sorry if I didn't make that clear enough for you.

. I attended a one off gig during the Musicology Tour at the House of Blues in West Hollywood and I remember it being filmed from the balcony. That was a crazy night. Wendy showed up on stage and the place went nuts.

There was a large flat screen in the Front Bar and as I left it was showing the crew breaking down the stage. I never left my place so I don't know if it showed the whole experience.

HOB does the same during shows.

It doesn't mean they were actually recorded, but then Bill Graham did record many of the shows he promoted... one never knows

I wouldn't define him as a mean or spiteful. He's in charge of his own products, I don't considert that mean.

And his unpridictable concert planning doesn't make him a mean person.

I do agree there are many artists that are easyer on their fans. He probably has the strangest relationship with his fanbase than any other artist that I know of. I don't know why he's like that. However, wouldn't be quicq to call him mean......

He tapes everything so that he and the band can look for things to improve, not with plans to ever release it. Filming a show for release requires a careful planning and a lot of lighting work.
