Prince 'The Concept Album'

I was just lookin' at a few albums I have on the work PC I use and was playing a 'Planet Earth' friend of mine (and member of the org) made: OldFriends4Sale. He came up with a playlist or concept album by Prince for 'Planet Earth:

1. One Song

2. Everywhere

3. Planet Earth

4. Space

5. The Sun, the Moon and Stars

6. Madrid 2 Chicago

7. Resolution

8. Animal Kingdom

9. Welcome 2 The Dawn

10. Strays of The World

11. The Plan

12. Magnificent

13. S.S.T.

14. Brand New Orleans

15. ... and God created Woman

16. Somewhere Here on Earth

What would be a great concept album, in your humble (point) opinion (looks like this may be another playlist thread) join in if you want.

If you had the opportunity to sort thru various albums made over the years by Prince (including boots) what playlist would you have come up with and shopped to a label for Prince

Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

i like your play list for a planet earth compilation. of course it wouldn't have any cohesion or flow well, but on titles alone, great list.

SO.

MUCH.

MEDIOCRITY.

To me, all of his albums are concept albums because they sound so strikingly different in most cases. If Madonna reinvents her image each release, Prince drastically reinvented his sound.

Well, except for the releases above which showcase JUST HOW milquetoast his music is nowadays. You can slap songs 10 years apart together and they sound right as rain. Pity.
