When that track came out, there was a note on the website saying that the lyrics were written by Nikka Costa.

A 'Silver Tongue' is s smooth talker. Somebody who will say whatever you want to hear to get what they want.

Thanks for clarifying that. What would a gold tongue be being that Gold is more valuable these days? A hellava talker?

This was recorded with Robin Power (of Number One fame) i believe and at the end it slows down and segues immediately ito become a new song called 'Positive Place'.

I'm still trying to figure out what the right tempo is for that song. I've heard various versions of that song at different speeds. I think Prince's part is kinda dope, but I pretty much cut off once the girl starts talk/rapping....
