Prince should make Chanhassen land edible garden

What Prince needs in his life are some raised garden beds and some high and low tunnels.

Since he is devoted to plant based diet, this would make sense. He should pay up on

this and use it to small farm, perhaps donating it to the county for a community garden

or to schools who want to learn edible garden classrooms-full cycle gardening from the

garden to the plate and back. Would be great if Prince did some gardening.

Also possibly he has emotional issues with this land.orange

Yeah...the neighbors in that fancy-schmancy neighborhood would just loooooove that. There go their property values! lol

And I'm pretty sure that land would be zoned residential - which means he can't farm it.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

How REALLY lucky is Prince that he has someone to tell him what he SHOULD do!

I envy him.

Love4OneAnother has provided financial support previously to local farming projects that you describe - I have a leaflet somewhere about it that I picked up at Paisley Park in 2000.

He should build a commune on that land. I know a number of folks on this site who'd have their bag packed, head shaved and ear wrap moon cuff on and be on the next plane to MN in 10 seconds.

hey i think its a fiyiyiine idea!

i wonder how a tropical conservatory would work in that climate -- a big glass house with mangoes and bananas growing inside. it could be heated by the purple funk! yes i'm serious.

Funkiness is a happy garden/small farm. Check out spinfarming.org

Consider edible schoolyards. Charter schools are perfect for this concept.

The seed starts in the soil, grows to seedling, plant, fruiting stage. Discussions

take place from beginning to end on the actual process of growth, what happens

to the soil, the plant. Add some colored mulching to the garden and talk about

color's effect on plants. Harvest the veggie/fruit. Cook the veggie/fruit, and eat.

Discuss the vitamins, minerals, protein. Compare with junk food. Save the scraps

and throw in the compost bin. Add a red wiggler or earthworm. Turn the compost.

Throw on the soil and incorporate. Start the whole process again. Cyclic, huh?

Prince's property would be perfect for this. Tax breaks for helping out non profs and

plenty of PR for it.yes butterfly foodnow

True, for sure, but he is human enough to listen. Properties idle without use are an invitation to guerilla

gardening. http://en.wikipedia.org/w..._gardening

Hope someone tosses some veggie seeds on it someday!!!!

Meanwhile, for all Minneapolis kid farmers, check out the video in this website. Gardenquake!!!
