I was wondering if anyone knows or would be interested in starting something up in getting Prince his star on the hollywood walk of fame? I think it's a disgrace that he doesn't have one and absolutely is more deserving the 90% of the stars present already.

Totally agree! How does that process work? How the heck does BS (Britney Spears) land hers before Prince does? Shame!

To get a star on the walk of fame, you have to buy it. Not as prestigious as it seems to be.

i tend to agree. and he would have to submit a litter of acceptance with the nomination.

Oh. I've always wondered why he didn't have one. I think that he should make the effort to get one whether he cares about it or not..just to mark history in another way.

I used to wonder too, until I found out the cost ($25,000) and then was like "Yeah, Prince wouldn't pay that just to get 10 ounces of more recognition, he can get that for free like he's been doing all his life."

It certainly is a disgrace! Even Ryan Seacrest has a star on the walk of fame! Which is ridiculous, imo. What is wrong with people?

I would think the star on the walk of fame would be different than getting an grammy or other trophies and we all know he's showed up to receive those. The star is a permanent part of history.

I know there have been worthless so called entertainers, but that holds true for the other awards Prince has received, other worthless, untalented ppl have received grammy's (imo).

Prince don't play the Hollywood game so I don't see this happening any time soon and why should it? He's alright without a star anyways.
