I just watched the video for the first time today, i know just about everything that can be discussed has and i am late to this watching Gold video game lol.

I liked the video! Prince in my opinion had better videos in the 90's then in the 80's there was always a lot more going on i feel in that era from Diamonds & Pears to Gold music video wise.

It took awhile for this song to grow on me but it has i love it and the video to boot.

On a side note i just watched the long version of Thieves In The Temple which has scenes from Graffiti Bridge mixed with scenes of Prince dancing in random places.... with cheap color chards behind him. It was wretched lol

I liked Prince's videos from the 90s onward too, but for some reason, most people hate all of his music videos. I don't understand why. I don't even like music videos, but Prince is one of only two artists whose videos I'll actually watch. I love the simplicity of them - no ridiculous storylines, just a simple video illustrating the song.

"Gold" is one of my favorite songs too, by the way.

I am mixed he has some good videos and some bad ones but his 90's one interest me.
