You like Prince's voice the best from what era? Prince is a great singer, his voice is on record for over 4 decades. Over the time his voice have changed which time period you like Prince's singing and voice the best? My choice would be 1999 era i find his voice perfect during that period. And i think he maybe had some voice lessons during that time.

The Camille falsetto of 1986/87, he did it so well, and Camille was very playful. Also his acapella tapes on Adore. Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

1981-1984 is his best vocal period, IMO.
Breaking kinda loose from that all falsetto shit was a bold move and you can tell he's having fun with his voice. Songs like "Sexuality" and "Let's Work" exhibit a lot of really bombastic inflection and tones. Then you get to 1999 and Purple Rain where his vocals have this kinda of shocking quality to them, the shouts are shout-y, the howls are howly, the falsetto is still a little nasal like on Dirty Mind but also kinda pearly and light like on Do U Lie - its just right in between where it should be.

i like his deep voice from 1992-1995. For example songs like Sexy M.F, Tell Me How U Want 2 B Done, Get Off, Acknowledge Me, My Name Is Prince or I Wanna Melt Wit U. So evil girl, if one of us has a date,
With the undertaker, which one will it be?

One Nite Alone..., Musicology, 3121, Planet Earth, Lotusflow3r, 20Ten, and Welcome 2 America. He sounded peaceful. It sounded like he want to make me smile.

love his voice whenever, but listened to purple rain 2day, his voice sounded boyish, he makes sounds that don't sound like they're from this realm & his screams laden with testosterone!
