and Prince sounded more like he is going

through the motions,

rather mocking

the song instead of really performing it.

1999 tour version of the song is much more powerful

and he was singing it from the heart.

Purple Rain tour version souns Ok if you never heard previous rendations of the song,

but it sucks compared to 1982/1983 time period versions.

I still wouldn't say this song sucks on the PR tour.

I said it sucks because i think it lacks the true emotion of the song Prince can emitate,

even 2002 tour version was much better
