Hell no. I'm a vegan, I don't touch animal byproducts including honey, but even if i wasn't.... still no.
22 year old bee secretions.... yuck |

Vegans don't eat honey? That's retarded.

I've drank 30-40 year old wine and scotch. That's the good stuff. But not all wine & liquors improve with age, and if you mess up the storage process you can ruin the whole thing.
The fact that this was produced as a cheap promo item in 1989 makes me believe this is neither top quality honey, nor packaged & stored in a way that would support aging for that long.
So, probably not.
I'll take some 65-year old Macallan if you got any though.

I hate honey. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I don't know why, but that surprises me.

Me too, actually. | |

No it's not. I have no interest in consuming anything that came from an animal. Nothing "retarded" about it, it's called a personal dietary choice. Grow up. |

There's just something about the flavor I don't care for. It sort of irritates my throat, too.
That's not to say I don't like it in stuff. Like...I don't mind it in a marinade. Or mustard.
I just don't care for it as the main flavor. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I can understand the choice of not eating meat and chicken -- even fish -- but honey? Oh, those poor neglected bees. Okay, maybe "retarded" was a bit extreme. Comical would have been a better choice. Thank you for the laugh

Taste is...sure why not? But I actually don't like honey, so... Prince is GORGEOUS. I'm inspired. GOD is GREAT. Is there anything else to say? lol

I'm a veggie and I've been a vegan and I don't understand it either.

An amateur beekeeper here in Melbourne was stung 40 times last night when he tried to move their hive and accidently knocked it.
They may not be neglected, but apparently they're not super happy...
In any case, I would be surprised to see someone who calls themselves a vegan eat honey. It's like a vegetarian who occasionally eats chicken or fish. Psst! That's not a vegetarian, that's just someone who doesn't like red meat...

Someone who only eats fish is a Pescatarian. There is no name, as far as I know, for those who only eat chicken.
And as someone who was a vegan for quite some time I can tell you I ate honey because they're bees. Bees are insects, not animals. And keeping them in hives to create honey is only allowing them to do what they do naturally. Stinging people when their hive is disturbed is natural act for them. Also, honey bees are disappearing, so the more people who keep them the better.

I'm still eating from that 1993-collection of earwax and belly button fluff, so I can handle the honey.... Have a look at 'The W2A: Euro Tour Song Survey' http://prince.org/msg/12/362417

I love light, floral honies, but somehow I figure anything marketed by Prince would be thick, pungent and putrid.

I like a bit honey occasionally but that looks gross. Looks like it needs to be binned.

Well, let me put it this way to help you gain some perspective. Veganism isn't simply about animal cruelty. It's about animal exploitation.
When you breed, or forcefully keep a living creature in order to extract it's natural fluids and sell them for profit, that's exploitation. Why do we feel we have the right to dictate the way in which another living creature lives? Isn't it for the bees to decide what happens to the honey they create? Is human exploitation of it the reason for it's existence?
Cerebus - Why aren't insects "animals"? Veganism is about not exploiting, living, sentient beings who would logically not want to be exploited and would express that if we had the ability to share communication. A common phrase you'll hear among vegans is that we don't eat anything with eyes and parents, and we don't eat anything that came from something with eyes and parents. It's a tongue-in-cheek remark, but valid.

Insects are animals!
I don't eat mammals! Unless I've really got no other options. Or it would hurt someone's feelings. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid
