Prince la cigale 2009 Just want to say how frigging good this show is. 2009 seemed to boast some incredibly unique set lists from the 3 show stint in LA to the awesome 2 show night in Montreux. Old Skool Company Crimson & Clover Stand Turn Me Loose Dance 4 Me No More Candy 4 U Shhh Stratus Girl Forever In My Life Baby Love Sexy Dancer - Le Freak All Day, All Night Peach Sing A Simple Song - Be Happy 7 Come Together Dreamer The Bird Jungle Love The Glamorous Life 3121 Purple Rain BUT I want to express my hate for that girl with the horribly flat scream throughout nearly the whole bloody show! It's ok, i'm not that much of a fan of his live stuff during this period.
Montreux is a good set, I quite enjoyed those two shows.
The 3 LA shows were interesting, the rock show at the Conga Room is a good show, and I like the set played at Club Nokia the next night.
The Monaco shows are ok too I suppose.
I guess some of the 2009 shows are a lot more interesting than the 2010/2011(so far) have been.

I'm going to give La Cigale a blast later to refresh my memory of it, I do recall the noisey girl though.

Worth it man, It just goes on forever for what typically feels like an after show to a certain degree and given how many people on here understandably want an alternative set list this works for me just great....and the kick ass reaction to forever in my life from the crowd is awesome | |
