Who does Prince's "edits"?

So I am curious if anyone knows who handled radio/single edits for Prince back in the day. Examples would include 1999, Do Me Baby, Controvery. Any ideas who handled them (Prince or someone else)?

I just finally bought myself a copy of "The Crown Jewels," which is a rare promo cd made up of nice edited versions of singles.

As for who does/did them? Fuck only knows.
