What Prince music NEVER gets old?

By that I mean 2 things:

1. U can listen 2 it a trillion times in a row

2. Ur grankids' GRANKIDS will still be listening to it.

I've pretty much heard all his music and (in my opinion) I can listen to all 1000+ songs over and over (not ALL one sitting of course:-P )

But if you were to pick 3... whatwould u pick?

As for me...

-1999

-Computer Blue (FULL COMPLETE VERSION)

-Let's Go Crazy

Oh and say why

lol lol lol

The folks from Brooklyn play da bass pretty good but the ones from Minneappolis play it like they OUGHTA SHOULD!

There are a lot of songs that I've been listening to for 15+ years and haven't gotten tired of them yet.

It will be hard to just pick three, but here are my choices today:

1. When You Were Mine (love the clean bass and theme of the lyrics)

2. Forever in My Life (love the background vocal tricks)

3. Mountains (love the extended version- a beautiful journey)

Nothing from the 80s has aged for me at all. I listen to quite a bit of electronic music and much of it mirrors exactly what Prince was doing from 1981-1984. As far as the jazzier latter half of the 80s, jazz never dates in my eyes.

Most of P's music dates badly because of his use of electronics in his music. In my opinion the ones that don't sound old are the ones performed mostly on traditional instruments.

How Come U don't Call me, Kiss, The Cross, Money Don't Matter.

I don't think she is talking from a technical standpoint.

You could probably listen to any songs from any time period and tell when it was created, because your into that. I am too. But I think she is talking from a more emotional place

The resurgence of electropop in the last 10 years says otherwise.

I'd flip the question.

What Prince music has aged?

I'd say NOT very much has aged.

But the fact that is has resurgence means its not timeless.
