A Million Days on Musicology

This was the first song that I loved immediately when Musicology came out, I think it's underrated! I also LOVE Cinnamon Girl...LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

really loved it when it came out. first pop-rock guitar tune he'd done in awhile that sounded like he meant it.

A Million Days, wow, I love it, easily one of my favorites of the 00s. One of his best pop/rock tunes...

it has that spark of greatness that his work after TGE sorely lacked...

Cinnamon Girl is probably his most underrated song of the 00s, or even his entire career...

i like more If Eye Was The Man In Ur Life and The Marrying Kind than A Million Days. That's good song, but there are better ones on Musicology.

Musicology was a strong /exciting comeback, not as good as the stellar 3121 but still a GREAT album (4/5 stars in my book)

The only clunkers were Life O the Party (rolleyes bored2) and specially Reflection ill barf errant agrees with me...

Certainly some of the most cliched guitar work of his entire career, but I do like the vocals (especially in the verses).

Musicology is one of his most boring albums ever. A Million Days is one of the better songs and sounds like Dolphin, but it's a mixed bag. It lacks reverb and has less force than Dolphin, but at the same time it has much better lyrics.

I hated the production on Musicology, to be honest. Most of the songs come off like rough demos.

i agree with you on Life O' The Party. i disagree with you on 3121 being stellar as an album. as for your opinion of Reflection... brick

The title track is the only one I really like from this album.

A Million Days is ok, not great though.

I think Cinnamon Girl is a better song.

thankfully. compare it to Emancipation, Rave and 3121, and it's refreshing to hear something that isn't bogged down by its own slick over-production.

Don't love it. Maybe I haven't listened enough times. I normally skip it. But I love Call My Name and Dear Mr. Man.

yup. I feel like he is getting to a middle ground these days with Lotusflo3er, not "slick" and over produced like Graffitti Bridge, but definitely not as raw as,say, 1999...

Good song. I like the raw production myself, but it would have needed an extra touch to be more radio-friendly. Which is to say, thank goodness he didn't do that and left it as it is.
