In honor of the anniversy (Thank you, HatrinaHaterwitz!) Tell me your favorite song from Parade . Mine would have to be I Wonder U. It's kind of AMAZING

Its kind of hard to pick between Kiss and Mountains.

I guess i'll go with mountains since its the revolution at their peak. Everytime i listen to the song, i hear something new. Prince, Wendy, Lisa, Eric Leeds, Bobby Z, Matt fink all contributing. Lovely song.

Infact i consider both Mountains and Kiss to be among princes top 15 songs.

I don't think I could decide....

I absolutely love pretty much every track with slight exception to "Girls and Boys" which I have never really cared much for and "Mountains" which I've always thought sounded better in the extended form than the album version.

"Life Can Be So Nice" and "New Position" have always been songs I will put on and keep on repeat a few times and sing along to myself with the track. I really love the energy and the humor on "New Position" and how it is pretty vulgar in some spots, but is actually quite sweet.

Kiss, a funk masterpiece.

Honestly? "I Wonder U."

That song makes my ears too happy, as Morris Day would so eloquently put it.

Sometimes It Snows In April

I'm kinda with spinlight on this one. In that it's strength is it's consistency. None really stand out for me, but all are gems a complete album. Just love the feel of the album. Avant Garde funk, that only Prince with the Revoloution could make.

I just got the parade cd a couple weeks ago..(oooohhh, upgraged from cassettes......lol)

I got to try a new position and mountains are my playbacks...

and i love the segue before life can be so nice.....that would be my third favoris!!!

Do U Lie? is very underrated....all songs are good imo

Mountains.

But they are all pretty groovy.

This is a HARD question for me to answer.

At first I thought AnotherLover, then I thought about Girls and Boys, then I thought about I Wonder U, then I thought about Mountains....*sigh*.

But AnotherLoverholenyohead is the one I thought of first, so I'll go with that.
