People were very uncivilized and vulger in voice and behavior. They booed, threw things at the band, and a guy in the front row tried to start a fight.

From what I read, Jagger came on stage and was upset, and said something like you just booed off the stage a future superstar.

The audio of the shows is circulating....

They come on, do some songs, are booed and pelted with crap, they leave. It's quite simple and quick. They were one of like 3 opening acts or some crap. I forget the particulars of the tour itself, but the crowd was just BORED of the openers and wanted the Stones so they abused whomever was on stage and it happened to be Prince.

Whatever that is about Jagger saying you booed a huge superstar in the making is complete bullshit and the kinda thing gullible people will pass around, lol. Totally not true in any way.

there is a photo of the show. there is a bunch of stuff on the stage but from what I heard they did their full set. I used to have one of the shows. It was not as bad as some make it out to be. More myth than truth.

Mick is a big fan of Prince. And I believe they have met on a number of occasions over

the intervening years.

There's a bootleg of the concert. Not sure if the Stones filmed that show or not, because they did film that tour. Not sure if the Stones' sound guy recorded it - prob. not.

It was one of P's first high profile shows. The Stones did their first big tour in a few years post Keith's heroin addiction, his playing was better.

People were doing their parking lot boozing, and going to the show three sheets to the wind.

No one would complain about the Stones opening acts now.
