I was trolling through Mexican border towns on Google earth and found this, its at the extreme northern end of Revolucion (La Revo) in Tijuana, you can actually see the border from it.

It looks pretty grotty and I probably wouldn't go inside, but its clearly a rip off of Purple Rain with the eyes and style of lettering, its a nightclub.

Big question being, has anyone been there (At least to Tijuana) and seen it, or been inside, it just fascinates me, do any Mexican orgers know, if Prince is quite famous in Mexico as well.

It would be hard for Prince to sue them outside the US, but it looks like strip club franchise Deja Vu has something to do with the club. There's a restaurant chain called Sticky Fingers, and I'm pretty sure the Stones would've sued them.

This one's worth putting on Prince's radar. I'd be fine with a misspelling or using the font as a homage of sorts, but this comes off as a Prince endorsed place. Even in his royal badness days, doubt he'd approve of this.

Any place you have a bad experience you never want to go back to. Biggest annoyance to me was the border wait and some of the stop signs that jump out at you. Or the vendors that jump out at you, and the kids with their gum. People told me to not give a dime to the people who look like Red Cross. And anyone in San Diego have seen those people hustling around town.

But to me, I went there and saved a ton of cash on car repairs because they didn't have overhead and the quality of work was the same as it would've been in any shop in San Diego. Did some betting at Agua Caliente, but you have to watch your ass when you win.

Nah! Revolucion, or La Revo colloquially, its at the far northern end, and really only the Rio Tijuana separates it from the border. If you were in San Ysidro, you could probably see it. Its past the big arch at the northern end of La Revo.
