I was there and you know what I don't even remember him playing Bambi and Honky Tonk Woman and I wasn't under the influence of anything either. It was my first Prince aftershow and I remember being particularly underwhelmed with the whole thing.
It was billed as having a swimming pool and stuff at the club but there wasn't. There was too many people there and it was very hot. I was pissed off 'cos I only wanted to see Prince, not Mavis Staples, The Steeles and Tony M. However Prince redeemed himself in my eyes with a blistering encore of Come, Endorphinemachine and Peach. boy did he restore the faith!

I was there.
It was hot and cramped and late. But when it got going it was completely excellent. Prince did something like 6 songs just him, then Mavis, then the Steeles (definite lowlight), then Tony M, then 'In The Mood' which was orgasmically good. Then the encore was supercool - Come, Endorphinemachine and Peach. And whilst I am no fan of Tony M, 'Call the Law' was definitely one of the highlights of the evening. I think that they also did 'Johnny' too, which again was excellent. Overall, very tiring, and I know lots of people had a terrible time, but v. cool for a first time aftershow boy like me.

Was there.
Was intense. Not enjoyable overall. Video kicks arse though- strange nes't pas? Marquee was my favorite aftershow I attended of: Bagleys (least favourite but vid better than Beautiful Strg) Cafe De Paris (V good) Marquee. (Utterly exceptional) Bagleys was so badly organised and overcrowded it was frankly dangerous.

I was there but due to the overcrowding went in the room next door and watched it on the monitors.
Prince had a break for a while and loadsa people left so the second half of the show was a lot easier to get into. The reason for the overcrowding by the way was the bouncers taking the tickets off of everyone (they weren't supposed to), running back around the front and then reselling them for up to £100 a pop.

...oh and of the London aftershows - definately second night at the emporium - if only just for Days of Wild !

I was at 'The Dawn', as it was billed. Still got the ticket somewhere. I thought it was disastrous. Being asthamtic I had a real problem with the heat and had to leave the room before he turned up. However, I was out back when his Merc arrived so got to within touching distance which I have only finally bettered this year at the Dublin after-show when I got to shake hands.
After that I heard a bit from the other room but that sucked so tried to leave. Apparently they double-sold the capacity for the venue and they only let me leave after threatening to report them to health and safety!

I was there! Very hot, not organised and too many people but i was there! Saw Mr Geldof and his then wife Paula Yeates on the stairs. That makes it seem a long time ago, considering whats happened with them.
