Not really news, but I was watching the CNN Headline News Weekend Update last night (they give information about events around the country coming up this weekend). My fiancee had just come home, and I'd just turned off the Prince music, when all of a sudden, I hear the Pop Life beat. Must have been my imagination, I thought, but no - a whole 20-30 second instrumental section from the beginning of the song looped to great effect as background music. I loved it, of course.

I've never been a big fan of this song, but with the ONA tour version and the instrumental loop here, I'm getting a new appreciation of the song's music. Pretty cool.

never mind all that!.., theres a supposed video of James Brown, Michael Jackson and Prince all on the same stage at the same stage..and they say Prince knocked over someones drink or something on the way down from the stage!

REALLY??? I have never seen this mentioned here!

the crowd went mental for MJs dancing and i kinda wanted prince to try and beat it but he didnt really do much

i thought his guitar playing was cool though!
also, notice prince ignores MJ when he talks to the band before he plays guitar then MJ disappears, i thought that was weird

do them have a history of not talking anyway? or something...

The way he came up on the stage through the crowd was hype but aside from the guitar skills he displayed the rest was kind of embarassing... MJ was the 'man', no doubt.
