That's the funkiest performance from The NPG since "The B-Side Medley Encore"!! Vegas (Shelltown) gets all of the gifts, but that's alright. What the? Johnny B is in a Cage-Match with his drum kit? Johnny, I love your inclusion of that "*Smack* Drum" on The Work Pt.1. I'll say it again. It's great to see Eric and Sheila on stage again (with Prince). Ppl who went 2 the Vegas show can they confirm that this is from Vegas??? The clothes and the way they 'member the Work being performed??? Also, do they remember the camera's eveywhere filming? I didn't see anyone mention this before...  I sincerely want 2 fuck the taste out of your mouth | |

He looks great and sounds great. 
And I love to see him praforming and enjoying himself in the process. I also like the jazz sound of it.

You're on! The SOTT/Lovesexy band! There ya go...now that wasn't too hard!! Yeah, which also had Eric Leeds and Sheila E.! I was mostly referring to any band outside of Prince's camp. Still a toss up though between the Vegas band and the SOTT/Lovesexy band. I guess I'm particularly thinking about just that one song "The Work" and what I hear going on and there's nothing else that jumps out at me as being tighter than that, not even from Prince's old bands."You've got to believe in something... why not believe in me?" | |
