Well, to each his/her own but those years you are talking about that he skipped were made up oh so well with 3 releases in 1993, 2 in 1994, 2 in 1996, 2, 1998, 2 in 1999, 3 in 2001, 3 in 2002, 2 in 2003, 4 in 2004, and 2 in 2006. The man has been busy. So he has done more than enough to make up for the years that he "skipped" an album release.

I agree. I think we're just trying to read the tea leaves to see if we're going to get one this year. If it were the case that he'd never skipped a year, then it would be more likely that we'll get one in 2011. But this could be one of his "off years."

In PrinceVault it's listed under Associated Artists, because technically it was released by NPG Orchestra.

20Ten has always been very easy to obtain.

I'm not even that into Prince's rock stuff, but I think it's one of the few areas he can still produce a decent track and not completely fuck it up.

He should do another album of faux jazz. A double cd of self indulgent jazzwank, 2 hours worth.
