Prince in Roskilde I was wondering how many of you guys went to see Prince in Roskilde. I went, it was actually my first Prince concert, I had been waiting to see Prince for ages but he never came to Scandinavia, so it was finally my chance to see him live for the first time, and I gotta say I LOVED IT!!! It must've been one of the best nights in my life, because I had been dreaming about seeing him live for ages and he didn't disapoint me in any way. I know most of you have seen Prince during his best years and that is no comparison to Roskilde, but how did you guys like the show? Was it good by standards?

I wasn't there, even I'm danish.. too big a festival for my taste.
But the clips from Roskilde on Youtube were great, imo.

It took me 3 days to bear the Roskilde bootleg.
Even if I didn't expect anything interesting from that tour, I had to fraction the listening and stretch it along 3 days. I could not take all that garbage in one sitting.
I got all the rest of the boots from the tour but after such disappointing experience I barely listened to Le New Morning and Antwerp (reportedly the best ones) and even those left me lukewarm, to put it mildly.
That said, it's plain to see I would never pass anywhere near my W2A boots, but some of you know that archiving is such a vice...

yea the stuff from w2a sounds way better than the euro performances. I thought the euro shows sounded weak but I like the american ones I have heard. They made me connect with a lot of his hits again.
