Movie Soundtrack I've been listening to The Rainbow Children CD (it's really good) it would be an excellent soundtack for an artistic and/or jazz-inspired movie or theatrical production, maybe in the style of Spike Lee's Mo Better Blues or an avant garde film.
The CD's theme provides a basis for a story with fantasy, conflict, love and social commentary. Might be able to get a car chase in there too.
Perhaps a throwback to the 60s or 70s movie theme with some scenes in black and white, some color.
Which Prince CD do you think would make a good movie soundtrack? And why?

^ o.k. these are all great (they've been done before); beyond the existing soundtracks are there other CDs which might be good soundtracks also?

Well, I always thought the Vault sounded like it could be a movie soundtrack then P&B said it was orginally for the movie I'll do anything. You can hear that in the cd, so I'd go for that one. But also definitely TRC. You'd need a really creative director to bring out the best of the movie in the script, story-line and emulate the music. It would be a box-office hit if done well enough, I think. "Free URself, B the best that U can B, 3rd Apartment from the Sun, nothing left to fear" Prince Rogers Nelson - Forever in my Life -
