Im not sure when I was younger I practically wore out my VHS copy that I had taped from the TV.

No idea, maybe 30-35 times? But a lot of those weren't the full movie, but watching a portion after running into it while flipping channels.

It's not a very good movie, but for a rock movie or a musical, it's one of the best ones.

GB I watched once in the theater, 3 or 4 times on video, and once on DVD. If it's on TV I'll watch it until I cringe at the bad writing and acting. They should've edited out the acting parts and just called it "A collection of Prince and Associate videos from the Graffiti Bridge album." Do it like "3 Chains of Gold:" You can forgive the bad acting, etc because it's basically just there to connect the songs.

I really don't recall-but I guess around 10 times.

Dunno, probably not as many as I think. 10-20? Probably only once or twice in the past 10 years though, most of those as a kid.

All the way through? Once. The film's not good enough to watch all the way through again.

it may not seem like alot, but maybe 5 -7 times. I already have it memorized lol. I watched it for the first time at a guys house, and got introduced to his music that way. so Purple Rain is very special to me

I have watched PR in a theater back then about 3-4 times, on VHS about 2-3 times, on dvd about 2 times...... that makes about 7-9 times.

Last time was in 2006, the day my mother died. (therefor I remember).

I have enjoyed every time watching.

Purple Rain is a good rock movie imo., I love it.
