That's not true. It's not beyond absolute reason to have a North American artist continue his 30 year habit of releasing his albums in his home country.

If The Beatles had chosen to not release Abbey Road in the UK, it wouldn't stop the die hards from getting the record and most die hards wouldn't give a shit about who else gets it. But that's not the point.

You're also on a North American website run by North Americans. So most of the people on the site will be North Americans or our bone-dry ancestors across the pond.
