Taken in the literal sense that means multi-disc albums shouldn't qualify, but since "Lotusflow3r" already came up on the top post I'd figure you're allowed to pick those too.

I'd probably pick "Emancipation" myself just because of the diversity.

You are looking at it, my own copy I bought it in 1994 and apparently its an original 1987 pressing (Of course this disc is hardly ever played as it was downloaded to my computer years ago). The guy I bought it off said he had bought it on April 1st 1987, the day it was released in New Zealand

Despite the occasional finger mark its still in good condition considering that between 1994 and 2007 it must have been played at least 500 times. There is not one naff song on this disc and the last track is my favourite Prince song of all time. ADORE!!!!!!

well quantity and qualty would be important so it has to SOTT by a mile, a song for every mood on there!.

This one: It combines great Prince-songs, great live-performances, TRC-material that I love and has a great atmosphere. I know many people don´t like this set, but I LOVE it (if I would have to decide between CD1 and CD2, I would choose CD1).

I was tempted to say Emancipation b/c it has so much to love, then I thought SOTT because it has so much to love, but I had to give props to THE best Prince album...

I guess I would choose a long one. Emancipation was one that I spent a lot of hours listening to. Definitely not my favorite, but it goes a long way.
