He did look good in that color suit jacket. I caught when he stood at the side after presenting to Halle. I was surprised when I first turned the show on that it was "live" because it's usually taped then aired later. The show was pretty good.

That color suits him well...I couldn't tell if the patterned part were his lapels or some kind of scarf.

When Prince first came out, I thought he was going to present an award to Tavis Smiley, but then he said, here are the nominees for Best Female Actress. What were the odds that Ms. Berry would win, and receive her award from Prince? On another note, Prince is quite fond of the NAACP Image Awards. I was just listening to his Vanguard Award performance from the 2005 Image Awards, and to me, that performance is easily top 5 best tv performance from Prince. From being to end, he was smokin': singing, grooving, playing and showmanship and stage presence. And in 2007 he received Best Male Artist. I wonder if the Image Awards would have produced Prince's lifetime achivement tribute, would the result be the same as BET's or better?

I think the NAACP would present a tribute to him much better. He's overdue for one from them.

Well NAACP Awards have already gave him the Vanguard Award and that performance was just killer. I believe it also got more reception and recognition than his recent Lifetime Achievement presentation at the BET Awards too. I also remember the NAACP Awards gave him the Key of Life Award back in '96 or '97 when Emancipation was out and that got alot of noise too, even though he didn't perform. So, NAACP definitely has alot of love for him and he must have alot of love and respect for their efforts also.
