Just saw it WOW

The place went nuts!

Halle Berry was almost more excited about Prince than the award,

I know I just saw that. He had on a nice, (edit-color of suit) light blue suit and Prince presented the award to Halle Berry. I've been watching the show since 8pm on Fox, and had no idea it was coming on tonight.

Me too. The only award show worth watching. That was a big surprise!

Me too. The only award show worth watching. That was a big surprise!

I caught the show by error and just kept it on. I was enjoying the opening with Wayne Brady and Holly Robinson, and had no idea Holly could sing. It's been a pretty good show so far, but Prince surprised everyone. I actually just caught a quick glimpse of him as the camera went off, because I was on the computer at the same time listening to music.

gosh im so mad i missed it! i forgot the awards were on...seems P is being more visible lately. Since her got honored at the bet awards hes been in the news more 2.

That shit took me by surprise. I was on the computer when I heard the show come back on and heard this thunderous applause , then my Mother told me"Hey Prince is on"!! I ran like I was at a shoot out at Chucky Cheese's!

Don't worry, I believe they repeat it. Probably will air again tomorrow afternoon. I'll check the schedule to see when it will be repeated. Who knows, maybe Drfunkenberry could get a snippet of it and put it on his site for those who missed it.

luv4u, you know people do have video phones and digital cameras? People have posted videos all over [Snip - luv4u] with Prince, but they haven't gotten shut down.

Only Prince gets the kind of thunderous standing ovations at award shows. Prince's star power is second to none. He still can bank on being a draw at award shows and other industry events. If only he could take better advantage of this kind of press for his albums. The timing is interesting given that Mani made that Facebook post about "having never to see Prince go on a Charlie Sheen-esque rant on 20/20". I agree, if Prince chose to, he pull Halle Berry with the quickness. She was praising Prince more than accepting her award.

Reeaallly now? Lol...It def was mutual admiration..It's just unusual for me to see him be so affectionate like that. It was nice.

He did look good in that color suit jacket. I caught it when he stood at the side after presenting to Halle. I was surprised when I first turned the show on that it was "live" because it's usually taped then aired later. The show was pretty good.

Yeah, she was definately holding on. Prince was kinda pushing back, he looked slightly uncomfortable. My sister said it looked "awkward." I told her probably didn't want to make a certain missus upset by hugging another woman too tight.

Prince looked GORGEOUS though, and super young, like he was 35 again. Damn the man is sexy!!! It was so great to hear all the love he was getting! He seemed so shy though, he was barely speaking above a whisper. Nice to see Halle showing him some love! She looked incredible! Prince's hair was amazing! Loved it!!

I still got an hour to watch it, I hate all of you...

I only watched this hoping he'd be on. My sister said about 5 mins before he came on "I doubt Prince shows up to this." I said I thought he'd show up, why wouldn't he? And all of a sudden, "Prince!" I let out a scream!! Then I screamed again when they showed the closeup!! Wow, what a gorgeous and pleasant surprise!!
