I thought the Rap was cringe worthy at first but then after a couple of listens i realized it fit within the concept. Its so deliberately old school and the flow is kinda cheesy and old school circa 79-80, around the time rappers referred to themselves as MC's. The gracious host line is hilarious, lightens the tone and makes the jam even more likable. I've heard alot of awful Prince raps but this one seems like he isnt trying to be taken seriously which works for me.
